It seems a bit odd how the original Mosaic Communications Site still exists the same form as when Netscape 0.9b was released in October 1994. The Wayback Machine shows that mcom.com used to redirect to netscape.com, so my guess is that the original site was reactivated following the discontinuation of the Netscape browser. Either way, this site is ancient. For example, Mosaic explains the hyperlink: “To get around, just single-click on any blue or purple word or phrase (here’s an example).” Also, the company has kept a list of every major new website from June 1993 to October 1994. The list is nostalgically overwhelming and you may find a telnet or two address in there.
